Culottes have got to be one of my favourite trends at the moment. They are so versatile and are totally trans-seasonal which makes them perfect for the current change in weather. I have been searching for a great pair of staple culottes and am a little obsessed with these that I found for super cheap at the Woolworths sale (which I wrote about here). They have such a great fit and the material is super light. One thing I love about culottes is that they are super flattering. They come in a whole range of shapes, materials, colours and lengths and are suitable for all body types. You just have to find that pair that looks great on you and makes you feel like a total rock-star.
For this post I collaborated with my friend Gabriel (who is an incredibly talented photographer) and we shot all around the streets of Braamfontein. We shot at a variety of locations so that we could emphasize the two looks I wanted to go for: smart and casual (although it looks like I’ve done a winter vs summer comparison. Totally unintentional!) I hope this proves just how versatile and easy to wear culottes are.
