There was a time last year when everyone was wearing animal print skirts. They seemed to pop-up everywhere I looked – on Instagram, on the street, on my favourite fashion bloggers, you name it. The shape & style differed each time but the brown and black animal print remained.

While I am not one to buy into fast-fashion trends, I knew this was one I had to get on board with.

Thankfully during a trip to SA, I managed to find this banger. The layered style is super unique (which I loved) and the tones make it match with everything. It’s interesting how a print paired with a layered design is not overwhelming, but somehow clean and versatile. I can just as easily wear this skirt with a white T, sneakers and a denim jacket as I can with an all-black ensemble + a paperboy hat, as seen here in my last trip to Amsterdam.

I have loved wearing this skirt so much in winter and it has come to my rescue time and time again. I cannot wait to show you how I change it up for (the fast approaching) summer!
